He will need patience, understanding, and gentle introductions. You will need to earn his trust, He is full of energy and excitement, which means he can jump up to greet people, so a home without small children would be best for him. Pal has also shown that he does not like having his collar grabbed or twisted, as it makes him uncomfortable, so he will need someone who respects his boundaries and works with him in a positive, encouraging way. These things don’t take away from his wonderful personality. With the right home, patience, and love, Pal has all the makings of a loyal, protective, and affectionate best friend.
